On Exhibit from April 7th-
On Friday April 7th Andy Sonneborn's Paintspot Gallery will re-open for spring with a stunning collection of oil paintings by expressionist artist Cheryl Lyon. We hope you'll join us to meet the artist and enjoy these breezy, colorful landscapes and treescapes of the Alaskan countryside. Cheryl imbues each of her paintings with joyous emotion, and her love of nature is self-evident. A wonderful assortment of vibrant quilted handbags and felted slippers by Willow artist Karen Mattson will also be featured; you won't want to miss these! The reception for Cheryl Lyon will be from 5-7:30.p.m.. The Paintspot gallery can be found between F street and Christensen, on 2nd Avenue, just a short block down the hill from the Hilton and the Snow Goose Restaurant. There is plenty of free parking nearby, making the Paintspot an ideal place to begin your First Friday tour of downtown galleries.
